Some of Yorkshire's best young Jazz players bring their incredible alchemy and energy to our part of town

The Mabgate Swingers Party are bringing jazz back to the party! Jazz was invented for dancing and that's the way they want to keep iot! Taking influence from New Orleans jazz, Kansas City swing and all the big band grets, this young, energetic septet will turn any night into one worth remembering and leave you wondering whatever made you think Jazz was boring.

The group is led by rising star Nico Widdowson. Nico plays original music that gets people's feet moving! His band has played all across Leeds and have a passion to bringing their music to new audiences. Their influences include The Christian McBride Trio and The Benny Green Trio, as well as many of the jazz greats like Phineus Newbord Jr, Oscar Peterson and Art Blakey.
