"Huge fan!" THE SUNDAY TIMES

JACK BARRY

Jack Barry is an exciting name making waves in the comedy world and is probably the only stand up on the circuit with a degree in Chinese – what a waste. As well as gracing screens and crisp packets nationwide as the face of McCoy’s Crisps for most of 2017-2018, Jack has appeared on Channel 4’s Catastrophe, ITV2’s @elevenish as part of sketch duo Twins and in James Acaster’s web series Sweet Home Lahnsteineringa. An excellent writer, he has written for Mock the Week (BBC2) and a sketch he wrote entitled Get Staffed went viral, becoming a Vimeo staff pick and appearing on the Canal+ TV show L’Oeil de Links in France. The sketch was shortlisted for Best Comedy Short at the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and won Single Funniest Moment at the Portland Comedy Festival.

Jack has provided tour support for comedians including Russell Howard, James Acaster, Patrick Kielty and Joe Lycett. An Edinburgh Fringe regular, he first appeared at the Festival with critically-acclaimed student sketch group the Leeds Tealights, named Best Student Sketch Group in 2010. He performed his debut solo hour in 2015 and has since returned each year with critically-acclaimed sell-out shows. His 2017 show High Treason went on to a 3-night run at London’s Soho Theatre. He returned to the festival in 2018 with a sell-out run of his show Tango, which received exclusively 4 and 5 reviews.

Along with being a solo act, Jack writes and performs as one-half of acclaimed sketch duo Twins alongside fellow former Leeds Tealight Annie McGrath.

STEPH LAING

Stephanie started performing in April 2007 on the Scottish comedy circuit. She quickly established herself as one of the most promising acts of her generation on the circuit, and in 2015 appeared as a finalist in the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year competition.

Stephanie is best described as goofy and peculiar. Her material is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable.

Now a regular on the circuit Stephanie has also become a stalwart of comedy festivals across the country having appeared at Brighton Fringe, Leicester Comedy Festival, York Comedy Festival, Bath Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival as well as appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2010. Not content with just performing in the UK Stephanie has also appeared at UCB in New York & The Laugh Factory in L.A.

Most recently in 2018 Stephanie took her solo show ‘Mad About The Boy’ to the Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth comedy festivals.
