THE DELIGHTFUL SAUSAGE

Despite sounding like a new Ann Summers toy or a lunch time snack at Greggs, The Delightful Sausage are a sketch comedy double act comprising of two northern treasures Amy Gledhill and Chris Cantrill.

Amy and Chris met as finalists in the 2013 Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Competition and found they shared love of the silly, strange and surreal.

Together, they formed The Delightful Sausage and tested the waters with experimental stand up, high energy sketches, strange illustrations and viral content. This unique mix made them a comedy cult hit and were pronounced the jewel in the crown of the northern comedy circuit.

Their hard work paid off on an international platform, when in 2017, the duo took their first show Cold Hard Cache to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and received overwhelming praise and 5 stars reviews across the board.

“Very smart writing” THE GUARDIAN | ‘The best shows at the Edinburgh festival 2018’

“The most grotesquely funny, inbred version of a Northern English town since The League of Gentlemen” THE SCOTSMAN

“The pair both have funny bones, no doubt about that… they could be unstoppable” CHORTLE

“Inventive and increasingly hysterical” ★★★★ THE SKINNY | ‘Best Shows of the Fringe 2017’

★★★★ ThreeWeeks

★★★★★ Mumble Comedy

★★★★.5 To Do List

★★★★ Fest Mag

THE MONKS

The Monks are Kevin Moore and Yazz Fetto. They think they can lay claim to being the only Christian comedy sketch group in the UK. As such, they not only do shows in clubs, pubs and small sweaty comedy rooms but also chapels, churches and small sweaty vestries.

Each of the commandments gets the comedy sketch treatment; some get more than one, making this perhaps one of the best value sketch comedy shows ever! Even penny pinching, backstabbing disciple Judas Iscariot would approve!
