A Sunday Times best-seller, Rivers of London was first published in 2011, earning Ben Aaronovitch a nomination in the New Writer of The Year category at the National Book Awards in 2011. Each subsequent novel in this hugely popular series has also charted, with the most recent two novels – 2022’s Amongst Our Weapons and 2020’s False Value – going straight to No 1 on the Sunday Times bestseller list. The books been translated into 14 languages and sold in excess of five million copies worldwide. They are now set for a TV adaptation by Pure Fiction Television, See-Saw Films and Aaronovitch’s own production company Unnecessary Logo.

Earlier in his career, Ben wrote for Doctor Who (his ‘Remembrance of the Daleks‘ is regarded as a classic by many), Casualty and the late, lamented space soap Jupiter Moon.

A selection of Ben's novels will be available to purchase for signing on the night, courtesy of Farsley's Truman Books.

The event forms part of Ink Slingers - Farsley Literature Festival.
